At Queensland Community Services, we offer safe, reliable, and personalised travel and transport support to help NDIS participants stay connected to their community and live life on their own terms.
As a registered NDIS provider, our transport services are designed to give you greater freedom, flexibility, and independence—while ensuring your travel needs are met with care and respect.
What Is NDIS Travel and Transport Support?
Travel and Transport Assistance is an NDIS-funded support available to participants who are unable to use public transport without significant difficulty due to their disability. It is funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation or Transport Support in your NDIS plan.
Depending on your goals and level of mobility, we can support you with:
Transport to and from medical or therapy appointments
Travel to school, work, or training programs
Getting to social and recreational activities
Assistance with community access and outings
Help learning how to use public transport safely and independently
Travel planning and support coordination
Accompanied transport if you need a support worker with you
