Queensland Community Services vs Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS)
Many people in Queensland confuse Queensland Community Services (QCS) with the Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS). While both aim to help people live independently and stay connected, they are completely separate.
This article explains the difference and helps you find the right type of support.

Queensland community services can direct you to right direction and provide suggestions on accessing NDIS funding for the disability support services you need.
What Is the Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS)?
The Queensland Community Support Scheme is a Queensland Government program designed for people who:
Are under 65 years old (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people),
Do not qualify for the NDIS, and
Need low-intensity, short-term support to remain living safely at home.
QCSS provides practical help such as personal care, household assistance, light yard maintenance, and community access.
It does not offer clinical or high-level disability supports.
